Fans of The Da Vinci Code get ready, because Robert Langdon is back in the latest adaptation of a Dan Brown novel in Inferno. Inferno will star Tom Hanks once again as Robert Langdon as he follows clues left by Dante himself, regarding the survival of the human race. This time around, Langdom wakes in an Italian hospital, with amnesia, and finds himself teaming up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor who hopefully can help him recover his lost memories which can help to save the human race. Racing across Europe, they must beat the clock to foil a deadly plot and save the day.
Ron Howard returns to direct the latest film in a series that continues to captivate audiences around the world and keep us on the edge of our seats waiting to see what will happen and whether Robert will be able to follow clues and stop the destruction in time. Following the 2009 sequel Angels and Demons, it’s clear this series is returning and packing a punch with a bioterrorism plot that is highlighted in the newest trailer released. The film is set to hit theaters on October 14 and looks to be following a similar curve to the previous two films, which can be considered a good thing, especially if you enjoyed the first two films.
