Sad news for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki fans reaches fans today as Hiddleston announces that Thor: Ragnarok might be his last film as Loki. He hinted at the future of the meddlesome god in an interview with The Daily Beast. “’Thor 3’ will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years,” he stated in the interview. The film, which begins shooting in June is set to be the last film in the Thor series. “I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out the gate.”
But soon after saying those words Hiddleston admitted that even current cast members of the MCU don’t know what future project entail. Since they seem to be creating the films as they come, so it’s all up in the air on whether or not Hiddleston will actually be in future MCU films after Thor: Ragnarok. “I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know,” he told the Beast. “They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.”
It seems all we can do is hope and pray that Hiddleston will have some part in the MCU after Thor: Ragnarok’s release on November 3, 2017.
