13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi hits theaters this Friday and a featurette has been released about the making of the film that makes fans excited to actually see the film. Based on the true events that occurred in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 when a terrorist attack occurred at a diplomatic compound. The film stars James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Max Martini and Toby Stephens with Michael Bay as the director.
The unique facts about this video is that they relied on retired military to help create the most realistic atmosphere for the film. With ex Navy Seals as stunt doubles, Bay wanted to create an authentic atmosphere and that is very apparent in this short video clip, of the making of the film. Bay did extensive background work on the event and went to those who knew of the event.
