Rogue One is getting closer and closer and with Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 is releasing fun tidbits for Star Wars fans to finally get a sneak peek of the upcoming Star Wars film. The film, which occurs prior to Episode IV and post Episode III, is the story about how those very important Death Star plans made it into the hands of the rebels as they fight against the evil Empire. The film stars Felicity Jones and Ben Mendelsohn with Mads Mikkelson, Forest Whitaker and the fabled return of James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader.
In celebration of Star Wars, during a panel today, not only was the Rogue One trailer released, which we will be able to see later tonight, but there was also a behind the scenes look at the film that gives us a gritty look at the new film. It’s exciting and a great look at the film that is set to be released at the end of this year. Highlighting the fact that the film will tribute the originals, but wants to make a name for itself and show that it’s a Star Wars film that does not have to be inherently linked to the original films.
