With Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them coming out in November and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child coming in the next couple of months, it’s no shock that the question has been brought the Daniel Radcliffe on whether or not he would return to the wizarding world himself. Fans aren’t able to leave Harry Potter in their pasts, demanding more and more from author J.K. Rowling, who has been releasing more and more content from the wizarding world, moving into North America with her latest short stories.
But would you want to see Harry on screen again? Maybe in a film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child? Sure. Why not? It would make for a feel good, nostalgic film that would carry on the Harry Potter fantasy into the next generation. But, would Daniel Radcliffe return to play The Boy Who Lived as an adult?

That question was answered in an interview with Radio Times this week and he’s giving fans some hope for a future film with Harry.
“It would depend on the script,” he said. “The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there! So I am saying, ‘No,’ for now but leaving room to backtrack in the future.”
So, of course it’s not a for sure yes, but it’s pretty close. As Radcliffe makes the comparison, no one was sure that Harrison Ford would return for the newest Star Wars film, but he did. We can only hope for the future that Radcliffe will in fact be handed the right script so we can all enjoy a film with a familiar face as Harry, rather than a new actor (which would just feel wrong in our opinion).
