Three-year-old Claire Ryan Cosby dreams of being a Disney princess, a dream most little girls have at one point or another. But what makes her the happiest is combining her love of Disney princess with her love of singing, which she’s proving she does very well. Claire’s father Dave, told KSL.com, “A few months ago, I was paying for an oil change, and when I turned around [Claire] was singing Little Mermaid in the lobby while everyone had their phones out recording her.”
Taking this as a sign, Dave, who writes music for film and freelances for a film company, decided he was going to spend daddy-daughter time with Claire, by creating a studio-quality version of The Little Mermaid classic “Part of Your World”. Originally performed by Jodi Benson in 1989 for Disney’s The Little Mermaid, this three-year-old creates a memorable and adorable version of the song in a way only a three-year-old could.
Not only does she get to be a Disney princess with her dad and spend quality time with her dad, but she’s now amazed us all with her little (well not so little) voice.
With “Let It Go” from Frozen in the future, Claire will be one to watch out for. Check out her video below and be prepared for how cute it truly is.
