With the Game of Thrones drought just beginning after the season finale, it’s no shock that HBO has released a hilarious video to keep all of us crazy Game of Thrones fans satisfied. To make the video even better, it’s narrated by none other than Samuel L. Jackson. With all his vulgar and foul mouthed glory, Jackson brings humor to a series that has always lacked a bit of humor. Recapping the entire series, from season one to season five, gracefully leaving out any spoilers of season six for those who haven’t had the chance to watch it yet, and really breaking down a series that in a way is complicated and complex, he makes it simple.

The jokes are endless as Jackson does his whole fast forward and covering just the basics and most important information for viewers to see what has happened up until the end of season five. Even making fun of our obsession over the dragons and getting to see the dragons in the show. We couldn’t have imagined anyone else narrating this recap, since Jackson just brings a lot of fun to go over what has happened so far in the show (and come on, it’s Samuel “Motherf*****” Jackson).
Be prepared, the video is vulgar and not really safe for work, but it is a lot of fun. You won’t want to miss it. Why did HBO make this video? To promote the show being sold at the Apple Store on your mobile devices…well, in the end we got an awesome video just because of their marketing strategy, right?
