Tonight was the night that many a Star Wars fan watched football, not to enjoy the American pass time, but to wait to see the newest trailer for the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. With excitement building and the release date getting closer and closer, Disney and Lucasfilm are releasing just enough information to not only frustrate it’s fans, but also keep us all interested in seeing the film.
With a two minute and 23 second long trailer, we’re finally getting to see a little bit more (although how much more is really in question). Mixed in with footage we’ve already seen, the trailer is building us up for the war that is to come between the light and the dark. We can only keep guessing at the background of some of the newest characters as this trailer teases us once again.
The trailer was released with the announcement of ticket’s going on sale (yes almost two months early!) and fans couldn’t be happier. Yet, a lot of people want to see more. But…would more ruin the movie? You decide.
