With Game of Thrones less than a month away it’s with excitement that we finally get to see a new clip from the show on the nightly show Conan. Liam Cunningham was the guest, whom portrays Ser Davos on the show. During his time on the show, he makes comments about George R.R. Martin, the creator of the series, telling him a secret about the future of the show. Of course, Conan then had to question him and try to figure out what this secret was, but Cunningham was quite tight lipped about the whole situation making it frustrating for fans who just want to know what’s going to happen to some of their favorite characters.

The scene that they showed, however, gives more context as to the clips we’ve seen in trailers of Ser Davos protecting or standing over Jon Snow’s corpse. At this point, we know Jon Snow is dead (although we are all rooting for him to come back in some way) but to see that there are men protecting his corpse makes us believe that something is going to come of this. And it’s not just men protecting Jon’s body, Ghost, a rather angry Ghost at that, is protecting Jon as well. Why protect his body?

We can assume that Ser Allistair Thorne and other members of the Nights Watch are attempting to burn Jon’s body, but why protect it from them? Why not just let them burn his body and be done with it? Could this be a very big clue that Melisandre will be bringing Jon back from the dead? We can only hope and pray that Jon comes back (since truth be told he’s one of our favorites on the show) and gets some type of revenge.

What theories do you have after watching this clip? Do you think Jon Snow is coming back? Or do you think they are just trying to make sure his body isn’t defiled by the men who killed him? Tell us what you think in the comments below or on social media!
