When you hear the name Ghostbusters you definitely think of the classic 80s film that we all know and love. Alas, it is time for a remake, since that is what Hollywood seems to be doing as of late. The one thing they couldn’t leave alone was Ghostbusters and the remake is on it’s way with a female squad, but is this “remake” really a sequel? It seems like it’s more of a sequel, as the new trailer sets up the plot line that it’s been 30 years since the first Ghostbuster film and this new crew is ready to fight against the paranormal in New York City.
With a motley crew of scientist and a subway worker, the new crew of ladies is ready to rumble in this new trailer as they fight against hundreds of ghosts trying to take over the world of the living. These new ghosts are similar, but definitely different than they were in the original film, but that’s needed as it has been 30 years since the original film. The new cast includes Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as our ghost fighting team. With Chris Hemsworth as their very handsome desk boy. Hopefully, this will be the comedy of the summer as the film comes out on July 15, 2016.
The ghosts are coming, who are you going to call?
