In the upcoming remake of the nineties TV series Baywatch we already know that Zac Efron will be portraying the hunky male lead of the film, but who is to play his love interest? That question has been answered, as Alexandra Daddario has been cast in the lead role of Summer.
The role of Summer was made famous in the original show by Nicole Eggert and Daddario has some big shoes to fill as she takes on the role in the upcoming film. Daddario was most recently seen in San Andreas alongside Dwayne Johnson and will be the second time she’s sharing a screen with him as he’s also cast to be in the film.
