Robert De Niro and Zac Efron join in Bad Grandpa, an upcoming comedy that is set to release on January 22, 2016. Directed by Dan Mazer, the mastermind producer behind Borat and Bruno, this film is guaranteed to be absolutely hilarious and bring a raunchy comedy right after the holidays.
Right before his wedding, Jason (Efron) is tricked into driving his grandfather (De Niro) to Daytona Beach, Fl for spring break. His grandfather, Dick, has recently lost his wife and feels he needs to live again and get back out there, dragging Jason along for the ride. In what looks to be a hilarious family bonding film, we can’t wait to see De Niro and Efron together on screen.
In the newest trailer for the film, we’re getting a good look at where the characters all stand in the plot and who the troublemaker is. Obviously it’s grandpa Dick, who seems to be trying to talk his uptight grandson out of marrying his fiancée, who is just as uptight and no fun. This trailer is making this film out to be one you won’t want to miss!
