The family movie of the weekend is most definitely Zootopia, but don’t let the fuzzy animals and crime movie genre fool you, there’s more to Disney’s Zootopia than meets the eye. For the first time, Disney has disrupted our expectations when it comes to a “talking animal” film, with a similar friendship we’ve seen before in prior Disney films. Comparing closely to Buzz and Woody, with the same ability to relate to the characters of the film, Officer Hops and Nick.

This is a new Disney film that will hopefully become a classic, with an amazing storyline and fun characters, the film keeps your attention from start to finish. With plenty of jokes for the parents and a great lesson for the kids that go to see the film. With all the problems in the media revolving around bullying and race, it’s no surprise that Disney would put their two sense into the argument, in their own way.

That way turns into a film that is all about trusting or judging other just because they are different. In the film, prey judge predators all the time and since prey is the majority, predators get the short end of the stick when it comes to fairness. And that’s where Judy Hopps comes in. With her determination to prove everyone wrong, her friendship with a sly fox will prove to change the way everyone thinks, even if she doubts herself along the way.

You won’t want to miss this film, it’s definitely a winner when it comes to seeing it in theaters. See the trailer below and let us know what you think of the film when you see it in the comments below!
