A brand new trailer for Finding Dory has been released and by none other than Dory herself, Ellen Degeneres. Ellen released the trailer on The Ellen Show YouTube channel and we couldn’t be more excited! Finally, we are getting to see more than just Dory, Nemo and Marlin going on an epic adventure to find Dory’s long lost family.
With the help of old and new friends, Dory is on the search for her family and she can’t seem to remember where they are. So on her quest, it seems she’s found herself at an aquarium of some kind where a whale shark, an octopus and a beluga whale all join her in her search for her parents. We just can’t wait to see how Dory finds herself in the aquarium and what it means for our little blue friend.
Finding Nemo came out 13 years ago, a really long time to wait for a sequel. Only time will tell if the wait was worth it, with Finding Dory coming to theaters on June 17 of this year (which is a lot closer than it was yesterday). The first trailer for Finding Dory came out a couple of months ago, and introduced the idea of Dory missing her family and wanting to go find them. See the trailer below:
This new trailer gives us a little more. We now know that Dory will be traveling not only the oceans, but even to places on land. This journey will hopefully end just as happily as Finding Nemo with Dory finding her family, but we can only hope that will be the outcome.
