Let’s start with the family film that everyone has been talking about, The Good Dinosaur. The next big Disney-Pixar film, it is the story of a young boy, who happens to be a dinosaur, and his journey back to his home with the help of his new friend, a small human boy who becomes his pet. A story of friendship and finding yourself, The Good Dinosaur looks to be the film that will do the best over the weekend, but that is still to be seen.
The next film to be released is Creed, a continuation to the classic Rocky films starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone. A sure hit, this film is all about boxing and redemption, as Adonis (Jordan) attempts to redeem his family name by training with none other than Rocky Balboa (Stallone) himself. Are you a Rocky fan and will this be the film you see this holiday weekend?
And last but not least, Victor Frankenstein, the classic story of a scientist defying all realities to create a human out of a dead body. It’s the origin story of one of the most famous monsters in history, and we’re not just talking of the undead walking again, but the doctor himself. Starring Daniel Radcliffe as Igor and James McAvoy as Victor Frankenstein himself, it’s sure to be a fun and adventurous origin story for all those monster fans out there.
So which of these films will you be seeing this weekend? The cute family film, the classic monster reborn or the boxing film to bring back the popularity of boxing films.
