A classic cartoon will be coming to Netflix next month! Voltron: Legendary Defender will be returning with a whole new look for a new generation to enjoy! Originally released in the ‘80s, this newest version will be released to Netflix on June 10. Five kids will join together to defend the universe against evil, while using amazingly large robots to defeat their enemies. The trailer introduces us to the new group of dysfunctional friends. The group includes Keith, Lance, Hunk, Pidge and Shiro (the character known as Sven in the original show), and they all come across the Blue Lion mecha and Princess Alura. Once they meet her, they are tasked with forming the Voltron to protect the universe.
The trailer makes the show look a little bit silly, but like a lot of fun for kids and families. It will be a great way to let the younger generation learn what their parents watched and fell in love with as children themselves. This trailer definitely focuses on the lightheartedness and humor more than anything.
