It’s ready for a classic western shoot out in the upcoming film Jane Got a Gun. Starring Natalie Portman (Thor: The Dark World) as a gun toting woman who is seeking help from an old friend in order to save her outlaw husband from a gang who are set out to kill him and her family. Ewan McGregor (Mortdecai) plays opposite of her as the gentleman outlaw that wants her dead. Directed by Gavin O’Connor, the film looks like an exciting start for the year in film.
The trailer sets up and exciting drama and a forbidden love between Jane (Portman) and Dan Frost (Joel Edgerton) who was a past lover and is the friend she seeks help from to protect her family. Portman’s character is exactly the type of strong female that makes you want to root for her and cheer as she fights for what she believes is right.
