The last official episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 aired in 1999, but thanks to support on Kickstarter, the show that mocked cheesy movies is coming back.

Current funding has already unlocked six new episodes to be made, with the potential for up to six more if funding goals are met. Funding runs through Friday, December 11, and donation perks included episode downloads, T-shirts and merchandise, all the way up to premiere invitations for larger contributions. The new show will feature Jonah Ray (The Nerdist podcast), as well as Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt.

MST3K was started in 1988 on KTMA-TV in Minneapolis before moving to The Comedy Channel/Comedy Central in 1989, and finally aired on the Sci Fi Channel from 1997 to 1999. The shows originality and humorous commentary over B-movies earned it a Peabody Award in 1993.
