The anticipation building up to Deadpool has been huge and it’s finally here! The Merc with a Mouth has done nothing but please fans leading up to the release of the film, with comedic trailers galore and infomercial type announcements from Deadpool himself. Ryan Reynolds is the man behind the character and to say he’s gotten into character on and off the set, would be an understatement.

The film itself, directed by Tim Miller, is brutal and amazing. If you’re a fan of Deadpool comics, then you’ll know his vulgar sense of humor and foul mouth are a must for the film. Well Deadpool fans, you won’t be disappointed! The rating on this film are definitely deserved, with Reynolds take on Deadpool being as vulgar as it possibly could be. With his jokes ranging from sexual jokes to drugs and racial slurs, this film is not for the faint of heart. A great film for the adult superhero fan, the beginning of this film is about 15 minutes of pure “adult moments” between Wade and Vanessa, his love interest.

Some of the best moments of the film, are jokes that Deadpool cracks while battling against the “bad guys”. His wise cracks against even the studio Twentieth Century Fox are hilarious and it makes you wonder how they got a green light for a sequel.

Deadpool is definitely a film you’ll want to see, but let it be an adult night and not have any kids with you. Wait to take your kids to go see Captain America: Civil War, which is sure to be more of a family friendly film. But as a film, Deadpool is highly entertaining and a fun film for adult comic book fans across the nation.
