The young Han Solo has finally been cast and he has the blessing of Steven Spielberg. With a slow build to stardom, Alden Ehrenreich has landed the role of the famous smuggler and we couldn’t be more excited for who has been picked for the part. He will be following in the footsteps of Harrison Ford, who made the role famous in 1977 when the first Star Wars film was released for the entire world to love.
With a recent role in Hail, Caesar! and a role in the YA adaptation Beautiful Creatures, which was a bit of a flop, Ehrenreich has worked hard to get to this point. The role of Han Solo will propel him into a world of stardom that he hasn’t reached yet. The status of celebrity will make him the next Harrison Ford if he’s lucky. A ladies man who steals everyone’s hearts (not just the ladies).
